Help > About Cardbox
This command gives a lot of information about the particular version of Cardbox you are running and the configuration of your computer. If you have come across an intractable problem then we will probably ask you to send us this information.
Creating the report
1. Use the command Help > About Cardbox.
Sometimes we will just ask you to tell us something from the report (it is long but it's scrollable), but more often we will ask you to send us the whole thing.
2. Click on "Save".
Cardbox chooses the name cboxinfo.txt for you and there's no need to change this. But do have a look at the folder mentioned in "Save In", and make sure that the file is being saved to a location that you'll remember. Your "My Documents" folder is a good choice; your desktop may be even better.
Sending us the report
Open your email program, create a new email to support@cardbox.com, and ask your email program to attach a file to this email. How you do this depends on which program you are using: in Eudora the keystroke is Ctrl + H.
Navigate to the folder that you chose when you were saving the report, find cboxinfo.txt, and double-click on it.
Remember not to delete cboxinfo.txt until you have actually transmitted the email to us.

Please send cboxinfo.txt as an attachment and do not incorporate it into the body of your email message. If you make the report a part of the email message then this makes it very difficult for us to process.
